Nexus have split their requirements for cleaning into 2 lots consisting of the following:Lot 1 — Office Cleaning which consists of cleaning at the following locations:— Nexus House, 33 St James' Boulevard, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 4AX.— Nexus Rail Headquarters (NRHQ), Gosforth Industrial Estate, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE3 1XW.— Eden Training Centre, Gosforth Industrial Estate, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE3 1XW.— Top Shed, Gosforth Depot, Cheswick Drive, Gosforth, NE3 1XW.Lot 2 — Bus interchanges and Travel Shops which consists of cleaning at the following locations:— Four Lane Ends Interchange, Benton Lane, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE7 7UJ.— Gateshead Interchange, West Street, Gateshead, NE8 1AD.— Heworth Interchange, Sunderland Road, Heworth, Gateshead, NE10 0LW.— Regent Centre Interchange, Great North Road, West Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE3 3PF.— Park Lane Interchange, Park Lane, Sunderland, SR1 3NX.— Haymarket Bus Station, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 7AG.— Gateshead TravelShop, Interchange concourse, West Street, Gateshead, NE8 1AD.— Sunderland TravelShop, Park Lane Interchange, Park Lane, Sunderland, SR1 3NX.— Haymarket TravelShop, Metro Station Concourse, Northumberland Street, Newcastle upon Tyne NE17AG.— North Shields TravelShop, Metro Station Concourse, Nile Street, North Shields, North Tyneside NE290BH.— South Shields TravelShop 34 — 36 Fowler Street, South Shields, NE33.— Central Station, Newcastle NE1.Bidders submitted a bid for 1 or both Lots and each element were assessed independently of 1 another.Nexus will let both contracts for a period of 36 months with an option to subsequently extend for up to a further 24 months at Nexus discretion.
