There is a duty on Clinical Commissioning Groups to support choice of provider options for people accessing mental health services, in the same way we support choice for other planned care services. An area of our current focus is to increase choice in the provision of assessment and or treatment services for all age (pre-school children, school-age children, young people and adults) Neurodiversity. (Autism Spectrum Disorder/Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) NHS Calderdale CCG (CCCG) is seeking to increase choice of providers to develop direct contractual arrangements. The intention is to create a direct commissioning relationship with multiple providers to support greater choice for our population. Through a future procurement process we will undertake the necessary due diligence which will enable referrals to be made directly to successful providers by GPs. The approved list will be shared with service users, carers, partners and stakeholders to enable people to make an informed decision about the choices available to them.
