NHS Coastal West Sussex (CWS) Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) Integrated Urgent Care Market Engagement Event.CWS CCG recognises that helping people with urgent care needs to get the right advice in the right place, is the primary driver for providing high quality care for people presenting with both physical and mental health needs. The current system is often fragmented with significant duplication. Connecting all urgent and emergency services, especially those providing face to face encounters has been recognised as key, with the overall system becoming more than just a sum of its parts.CWS CCG therefore intends to commission a local 24hr integrated urgent care service that meets the needs of our population by integrating GP Extended Access, Urgent Treatment Centres (UTC), Out of Hours Face to Face and Visiting Service.
