NHS Halton CCG and NHS Warrington CCG - High Intensity Users Support Programme

Descriptions

NHS Halton CCG and NHS Warrington CCG - High Intensity Users Support Programme NHS Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (MLCSU) is supporting NHS Halton CCG and NHS Warrington CCG who are the Contracting Authorities for this opportunity. The High Intensity User (HIU) support programme service offers a robust way of reducing frequent user activity primarily to A&E and non-elective admissions but can also contribute to reducing other avoidable unscheduled care contacts. The contract will be split into 2 LOTs Lot one for NHS Halton CCG and Lot two for NHS Warrington CCG. Providers are welcome to express interest in one or both LOTs. Any interested organisation needs to visit https://mlcsu.bravosolution.co.uk/ to complete a short questionnaire regarding delivery of the service in the CCG areas. This information will inform and assist the CCGs in forming their Commissioning Intentions for these services. The potential contract will be valued at approximately £120,000 per year across both LOTs; and the contract duration will be for 3 years with the potential to extend for a further 1 x 2-year period. Therefore the entire contract value is expected to be £600,000.
