Where appropriate, the programme will be delivered in a group format to normalise the pain experience and to maximise learning possibilities. The content of the programme will be designed to meet the needs of individuals within the group setting The provider must ensure that services are locally provided in an environment that promotes and delivers self-management, equitable access for patients and ensures a safe and reliable service. The provider must also demonstrate how it plans to enhance partnerships and provide an integrated service that works across multiple agencies within the locality and wider North Yorkshire area providing a seamless approach to service delivery. This will include links with Rheumatology services, Physiotherapy, Secondary Care Pain services and Mental Health Services.
