The commissioning of enhanced optometry services reflects this policy.Enhanced optometry services shall be defined and composed as the sum of four specific services, as detailed below:1. Diagnosed ocular hypertension monitoring service;2. Pre and post-operative cataract service;3. Intra-ocular pressure service;4. Minor Eye Conditions Service.A key priority for Wakefield CCG is to strengthen the commissioning of services in order to maximise health outcomes whilst maximising current resources to their optimum to meet the demands of the Health Care Economy.
