Descriptions
The authority is seeking a supplier to organise and co-ordinate the movement of human organs, organ retrieval teams and specialist nurses for organ donation throughout the British Isles on a 24 hour, 365 days of the year basis. Some journeys may need to be made to and from European mainland destinations. The supplier must provide a dedicated contact and respond rapidly to fluctuations in activity. The timeframes for some journeys are tight, and air travel may be required in these instances, and when journeys to islands are made.
