Descriptions
NHS South of England Procurement Services, acting on behalf of Health Education England (the Commissioner), will be commencing a tender for the procurement of an Event Management system for the London & South East Healthcare Education Team (LaSE HET). LaSE HET manages the training of about 15,000 junior doctors. This includes arranging training events and assessment panels for junior doctors. These events and panels involve booking venues, speakers, panel members, inviting delegates and interviewees, tracking attendance, and reporting outcomes. These events range from conferences, involving hundreds of delegates, to small specialist assessment panels involving a few panel members and trainees. This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to advise prospective providers of the Commissioner seeking a system to support the management of these events. The procurement is expected to be published on 7th December 2016, inviting responses ahead of 9th January 2017 deadline. Responses will be evaluated in January 2017 and suppliers who meet or exceed the evaluation threshold as stated within the published documents will be invited to a presentation session being held w/c 30th January 2017. LaSE HET intend to use an Event Management System from 1st March 2017. The commissioner reserves the right not to proceed with the Procurement, or any part thereof, or change the requirements and timelines as necessary at any time.
