This procurement is being led by Lincolnshire County Council on behalf of North KestevenDistrict Council.This Contract is for the supply of ‘Mechanical Sweeping’ and ‘Litter Picking’ throughout thearea of North Kesteven District (NKDC). The Supplier shall be responsible for the provisionof this Agreement, liaising closely with the North Kesteven District Council’s Waste andStreet Scene Manager or their deputy.The Supplier shall provide a service which complies fully with the requirements of theEnvironmental Protection Act 1990: Code of Practice on Litter and Refuse and CleanNeighbourhoods and Environment Act 2005. The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 (andas amended) shall also be met in the Supplier’s delivery of this service demonstrated via theSuppliers Safety Policy.The Supplier shall be responsible for the provision of vehicles, plant, equipment and depotsnecessary for the efficient execution of the Contract. All vehicles, plant and equipmentincluded for use on the public highway shall at all times be in a roadworthy condition so as toensure compliance with any statutory requirements.
