NMS Survey for Healthcare Users
Descriptions
The impacts of the National Measurement System (NMS) are cross cutting, spanning many sectors of the economy, as well as a range of socioeconomic objectives and societal challenges. Consequently, the top-level management of the NMS programme is structured around a series of sectors or challenge areas, one of which is 'Life Science and Health' (LSH). The survey is performed as part of the NMS evaluation plan, a document agreed with the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT). The National Physical Laboratory (NPL) is coordinating the survey with the National Measurement Laboratory (NML, hosted by the LGC Group). NPL will be leading the tender and management of the survey with successful the bidder on behalf of the NMS. The aims are to : Develop an understanding of the size and composition of NMS healthcare users. Understand the impact of the National Measurement System and attributing the role of the NMS. Develop an understanding of how customers use measurement to create value. Benchmark customer experience/ satisfaction and look for product and service improvement opportunities. The NMS survey is divided into 4 surveys, segmented by customer type. We are planning to ultimately run all surveys (estimated one per year), but this RFQ is for the Healthcare sector only.
