As part of its drive to deliver its vision, National Orthopaedic Hospital Cappagh is committed to a significant growth plan that will lead to the addition of new facilities and services. The growth plan will require an increase in staff numbers and support facilities in order to maintain this level of sustained growth. As such, National Orthopaedic Hospital Cappagh is seeking to develop a 20 year Masterplan containing key facilities required to enable and sustain this growth plan.The objectives of the Masterplan development are to;Provide facilities that will keep pace with the operational growth plan particularly with respect to new technologies and medical advances whilst at the same time contributing to business efficiencies and cost effectivenessAchieve better productivity, generate efficiency savings and boost staff and workplace morale by improving work flows and the provision of better facilitiesTo embrace modern workplace environments and methods of working by taking the opportunity to develop modern buildings that reflect industry best practices Modify the existing building portfolio to provide additional capacity required to facilitate the operational growth planThe implementation of the facilities and the due consideration of their aesthetic presence presents an opportunity to enhance National Orthopaedic Hospital Cappagh’s image Finalise a strategic brief as part of phase 1 Production of a Final Master Plan Concept and cost estimate (Cost Estimate to be provided by QS which is not part of this service) Develop an outline project implementation schedule for the masterplan
