Non-Award of Contract - NHS Calderdale CCG & Calderdale Council - Children & Adults Mental Health Service (CAMHS)

Descriptions

Calderdale Clinical Commissioning Group & Calderdale Council has run a tender process for the provision of specialist mental health support services for people aged 18 and under in Calderdale, with the aim of moving away from a tiered system of escalation and towards a more patient-centred, whole-system approach. Following evaluation and discussions with the bidders, we have decided not to award the contract at this stage and the procurement process will not continue. As a result of this CAMHS in Calderdale will continue to be delivered by existing providers and there will be no disruption of services. An electronic tendering portal (NHSSourcing) was used to manage this process and to communicate with the potential providers. Accordingly, no hard copy documents were issued to potential providers. Please note: the basic principles of the open procurement route were and are being followed for this tender exercise to test the capacity, capability and technical competence of Tenderers in accordance with the Contracts Regulations 2015.
