Non-Scalpel Vasectomy Services

NHS Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire CCG (BNSSG CCG) seeks to commission a non-scalpel vasectomy service for patients registered with a BNSSG GP. The service will include pre-vasectomy counselling, surgical operation and post vasectomy testing. The contract will be for an initial 5 years with an optional extension of any period of up to a further 24 months as defined at the discretion of the commissioner. BNSSG CCG has an annual budget for this service of 411 487 GBP (2 057 435 GBP over 5 years, 2 880 409 GBP plus 2 year optional extension). This procurement is being carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the commissioner.
