Awarded

Norfolk Mental Health Crisis House

Descriptions

The value of the service is below the threshold for health services under the Public Contract Regulations (2015).The commissioners have gained funding of 543 000 GBP from NHS England for the mental health crisis house service on the basis that this will be an important component of local transformation change. A significant delay will negatively affect patients and, potentially, withdrawal of funding.Mental health crisis house provision will help the commissioners to achieve the standards set out in the improvement and assessment framework (IAF), for example, in relation to out of area placements, and the ‘must do’s’ set out in the NHS long term plan. The contract will be for the 2 years of the current funding, following which the commissioners will procure the service.
