The North Wales Safeguarding Board (‘the Board’) is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced individual (or organisation with suitably qualified and experienced staff) to undertake a learning review under the Multi Agency Professional Forums (MAPF) approach in relation to the closure of a Care Home in North Wales (Reference: Section 5 on Page 9 of the Adult Practice Reviews guidance in Wales http://www.northwalessafeguardingboard.wales/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/161123guidanceen.pdf).Please note that the ability to communicate in Welsh is a desirable requirement for this piece of work.Prior experience of operating as an Independent Reviewer (or providing Independent Reviewer services) in undertaking Child / Adult practice reviews and a practical knowledge of Adult Safeguarding processes in Wales, as well as in-depth knowledge of the Wales Safeguarding legislation and Wales Government’s Escalating Concerns guidance, is essential.The Board anticipate that this commission would ideally be undertaken in January – March 2018.
