Awarded
(NU/1651) The Supply of a Large-Scale HD CMOS MEA System with 3D Pillar Electrodes
Descriptions
Newcastle University requires a large-scale high density (HD) complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) multi-electrode array (MEA) system with 3D pillar electrodes is required to record from neuronal preparations in vitro The system is required to record from neurones in the depth of the tissue (below the surface where they are often damaged by the slicing process). The system must be able to fit under various microscope platforms to enable simultaneous recording from the tissue. The requirement is for cutting edge technology within the field of neuroscience to allow measurement of electrical recordings and epiflurosecence micrscoscopy of neuronal preparations.
