Awarded

NUIG/CON1348/2021 - Multi Party Framework for the supply of Protein Purification and Visualisation Kits and Reagents for use with the BIO-RAD Profinia Machine

Descriptions

NUI Galway requires cartridges, buffers, reagents and kits made for use with the Bio-Rad Profinia Protein Purification Chromatography System. They must be compatible with the software programmes already installed on the machine as a change of manufacturer at this stage of the vaccine manufacturing programme would seriously compromise the technology transfer and the integrity of the research already underway on the SFI funded research project. Each of the reagents and kits must have batch traceability, a requirement for the successful translation of the purified proteins into vaccine production for use by veterinarians and medical personnel. All raw materials included in the final vaccine formulation must be traceable so that Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards are adhered to. The purpose of this competition is to establish a multi-party framework agreement for an initial period of two years, with the option to extend on two occasions by 1 year, to a maximum of 4 years.
