Descriptions

The core of the equipment is the miniature endomicroscope that will allow us to record activity of large neuronal ensemble (calcium imaging) in any brain structure, from superficial cortical layers to deep nuclei, including the hippocampus, the amygdala, the thalamus and the striatum. Associated to the endomicroscope the system includes optic fibers, data acquisition hardware and software for data analysis.
