The Building the Future Together ESF project is primarily aimed at providing a comprehensive suite of options and interventions to develop the skills needed for learning and future employment, raise aspirations, and support the emotional and social needs of 11 – 19 year olds in Rhondda Cynon Taf. Pursuant of these aims is the requirement to implement an Online Pupil Literacy and Numeracy Screening Test to measure pupils in Year 7 and 9 verbal, non-verbal and quantitative abilities in order to identify strengths and weaknesses, needs and learning preferences.The test would be required for approximately 6000 pupils, i.e 3000 in Year 7 and 3000 in Year 9.
