Organisational First Aid at Work, Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene Training.

Wirral council employs approximately 5 000 employees, and Wirral schools employee approximately 7 000 staff and some of these schools buy services from the Council, which includes some or all of the training within this tender.Tenders are invited for the provision of:— Paediatric first aid (in accordance with Annex C in the OFSTED Guide to Registration on the Childcare Register). You must be approved by an external awarding body.— First aid at work (3 day course)— First aid at work requalification (2 day course)— Emergency First Aid at Work (1 day course)— Food Hygiene — Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) or Royal Society for Public Health Food Safety course (Level 2)First Aid Training services must be provided in accordance with current guidelines on adult basic life support published by the Resuscitation Council (UK), and for other aspects of first aid, in accordance with current guidelines published by the Voluntary Aid Societies or other published guidelines that are supported by a responsible body of medical opinion.The successful tenderer(s) should be registered with OFQUAL or equivalent (SQA or the Welsh Government) or with an awarding body that is registered with OFQUAL or equivalent (SQA or the Welsh Government) for all of the training within this tender.This contract will be for corporate staff and is also open for schools, academies and children centres.Please note that bookings made prior to the start of contract for these courses will not be in the scope of this contract.The Council reserve the right to run any element of these courses internally.Please note that any indication of volume in this tender process is estimated and there is no guarantee of the level of business.
