This RFT sets out the requirements for the provision of Implementation Support in respect of a Fees Order for Ordnance Survey Ireland (OSI). OSI is funded through a combination of central government funding in the form of a service level agreement and funds-generated from the licensing of its products and services to the public and private sectors. OSI principally serves two distinct customer types:-Transactional Customers who want a ‘map’ for a specific purpose, for example to support a planning application, a land transfer or for a tourist or outdoor leisure activity; and -Corporate Customers who consume the very detailed and accurate geographic information that OSI creates and maintains and with whom OSI has long term relationships.OSI is entering into a period of significant change as it prepares for the merger into Tailte Éireann, which is due to happen on 1st January 2023. When Tailte Éireann in enacted the commercial products and services that OSI provides will be described and costed in a Fees Order akin to S.I. No. 380/2012 - Land Registration (Fees) Order 2012.The merger presents a significant opportunity for OSI to revisit its existing product pricing mechanisms, to provide a more reflective and transparent commercial engagement model, reflecting the latest organizational funding mechanisms and policy obligations (e.g. Open Data Directive).The successful tenderer will be required to provide support in respect of the requirements listed at Section 1.2 and Appendix 1 to the RFT.
