The purpose of this PIN is to start a market engagement exercise only. Any future procurement opportunity that may arise in relation to the Trust’s requirements for an outsourced outpatient medicine supply service will be advertised separately on find a tender in 2021. The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (the ‘Trust’) is proposing to go to the commercial market for an outsourced outpatient medicine supply service. The aim of the resulting contract is to deliver a dynamic partnership which provides a quality and patient focused innovative service in line with the Leeds Way Values ensuring the Trust meets the needs of our patients. A progressive partnership is required to shape the patient centered model at the core of the Trusts’ ‘Hospitals of the Future Project’ offering our patients modern, individual healthcare based on the most advanced treatments, technologies, innovation and research. This notification invites potential suppliers who wish to be involved in the market engagement to register their interest.As a part of the market engagement, the Trust wish to explore, as way of example; the dispensing and supply of medicines, innovative technical and digital solutions, in-scope service design and delivery using improvement methodologies along with optimal contract durations, commercial structures and procurement procedures.The Trust reserves the right to explore all routes to market during this process. Suppliers that are interested in participating in this market engagement exercise are invited to register their interest by sending a message via the ProContract portal: https://procontract.due-north.com/RegisterThe first step in the market engagement will be a webinar presentation that registered suppliers can attend on Thursday 28 January 2021 at 3 p.m. where representatives from the Trust will provide further information.
