Descriptions
The works comprise the installation of rainscreen overcladding with external thermal insulation to 7 No. multi-storey tower blocks located at Seaton, Aberdeen and the installation of new windows and window pods in those blocks; detailed design of the overcladding system (including the overcladding rails) will be subject to Contractor’s Design; main entrance area improvements; replacement door sets and entrance screens; replacement flat roofs to 3 No. tower blocks; minor structural repairs to existing precast concrete cladding system panels to maintain the integrity of those units; modification of the ventilation to drying rooms and other areas of those blocks; thermal insulation to semi exposed internal walls and ceilings; tanking repairs; kitchen and replacement bathroom extract ventilation fans; and other associated minor mechanical and electrical works in respect of those blocks. External fireclay foul and surface water drainage to be repaired/renewed.
