The University wishes to appoint a Contractor or Contractors to supply a Oxygen Plasma Ion Source for the Cameca NanoSIMS 50L. The Cameca NanoSIMS 50L is one of these state of the art techniques and we are seeking to enhance the capabilities of this instrument by improving the spatial resolution of the oxygen beam used to image secondary ionsThe University of Manchester will be home to a new national research and innovation centre in advanced materials, the Sir Henry Royce Institute (SHRI). Partners, comprise the Universities of Sheffield, Leeds, Liverpool, Cambridge, Oxford and Imperial College London, along with National Nuclear Labs (NNL) and the Culham Centre for Fusion Energy (CCFE).
