Ozone Equipment Service & Maintenance 2010 to 2015

Descriptions

The Environmental Change Network (ECN) is a multi-agency long-term integrated research programme to record, analyse and predict environmental change in the United Kingdom. All sites operate a uniform system of long-term data collection. Physical, chemical and biological variables are recorded using strict protocols. The ECN is co-ordinated by the Centre of Ecology & Hydrology, Lancaster. The Countryside Council for Wales (CCW) in partnership with the National Assembly for Wales Environment Division run the only Welsh terrestrial site in the network which is located within the National Nature Reserve of Yr Wyddfa/Snowdon. In 2000 ozone and NOx analysers were installed at First Hydro Headworks at Marchlyn Mawr. The equipment calibration readings are checked every three weeks. The service contract for this equipment is now due for renewal
