This is a VEAT notice of the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust's intention to award a contract. Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation intends to award contracts to Fysicon UK Ltd to December 2023 for the purchase of a solution capable of interfacing with all current and future Cardiac Implanted Electronic Devices (CIED) as well as integration with current I.T. systems held within the Trust Cardiac centre. The solution will include support and maintenance over the period of the contract.In summary the Trust would like to improve the processes below:— manual transcription (with the risk of transcription error),— entirety of reports not being available in electronic format,— initiate electronic CIED records from implant and reduce paper records,— paper and time heavy processes,— digital database for improved technical patient analysis.
