This Contract Notice is to inform the market that Solent NHS Trust is issuing this tender for Orthoses Products and Provision of Orthotic Service for children aged 0 – 16 years (0 – 19 years if attending special school), residing in the boundaries of Southampton City (NHS) and the Solent West provided areas of South West Hampshire and North East Hampshire excluding Farnham. It is anticipated the Contractor will be required to supply orthoses products and provide an orthotic service via the provision of Orthotists who will be responsible for providing orthotic treatment to patients who suffer from conditions affecting including, Children with orthopaedic conditions which affect their mobility, Children with neurological conditions which affect their mobility, Children with postural management needs and Children with developmental delay. The service is to be delivered at two clinic locations and weekly at two special schools supporting children with physical disabilities. The contract will be for an initial term of 2 years with the option to extend for a further 12 months. Expected annual value iro £180k. The expected service commencement date is 01/04/2024.
