Caerphilly County Borough Council's Engineering Projects Group are seeking a suitable company to construct a new main entrance to the Parc Penallta country park.The work will involve bulk earthworks to reprofile the existing tip to create a landform suitable for a new access, car park, visitor centre and internal access tracks. As part of the works the new access, car park and internal access tracks are to be constructed and surfaced. There is evidence of isolated areas of contaminated material within the tip, the scope of works will include dealing with this contamination should it be uncovered.An essential requirement for perspective contractors is that they are Construction Line registered and CHAS accredited, any expresions of interest must be supported by evidence of the companies registration/accreditation.
