Flintshire County Council (FCC) is looking to contract for the services of a Partnership Programme Officer. The worker who will be employed by the Tenderer will be expected to have experience of training and development, preferably with a focus on social care for adults.The main focus of the role will be to further develop and support effective means of involving, consulting and communicating with adult social care services across Flintshire in order to meet the aims of the Social Care Wales Workforce Development Plan.Working in partnership with Flintshire County Council, independent sector, voluntary sector and key health partners, they will promote engagement and development of staff from adult care services across Flintshire, ensuring the needs of service users are considered in the planning, development and evaluation of appropriate training.Flintshire County Council will expect the potential service provider to have a proven track record of engagement with vulnerable people. It is also expected that the contract holder is able to demonstrate a strong track record in partnership working, current legislation and collaboration to achieve outcomes for vulnerable people would be a significant advantage.Flintshire County Council is keen to ensure the Partnership Programme Officer has good local knowledge, an empathy with colleagues and service users, that can be demonstrated in applicable previous role(s) and a proven ability to affect changes that have resulted in positive outcomes for vulnerable people.This contract will run until 31st March 2019 with a maximum budget of £22k. It is expected that the post holder will work a minimum of 30 hours per week within that value.
