Financing and/or leasing for passenger rolling stock and potential Maintenance Depot Infrastructure Investment.Supply of finance and/or leasing for fleets of passenger rolling stock. Subject to approval by the Department of Transport (DfT) or any other UK statutory body, Stagecoach Rail Holdings Ltd is seeking finance and operating leases for any rolling stock fleets secured within the Framework Agreement for the supply of passenger rolling stock and potential Maintenance Depot Infrastructure Investment on a separate Stagecoach Contract Notice. The requirements will cover suburban, commuter and long distance services to cater for Rail Franchise bids which will be anticipated to be offered to the market by the Department for Transport (DfT) or any other UK statutory body in 2016/2017. These are likely to encompass, but not limited to, the following current rail franchises:— South Western Franchise;— Intercity West Coast Franchise;— West Midlands Franchise;— East Midlands Franchise;— South Eastern Franchise.The potential Procurement will be based upon a Framework Agreement containing Lots 1 through to 5 and also containing sub Lots within each main Lot where required. However, Stagecoach Rail Holdings Ltd, or any of its subsidiaries reserves the right to amend this list as required in the event that the DfT or any other UK statutory body amend their potential Franchising programme, or that Stagecoach Rail Holdings Ltd or any of its subsidiaries decides to either bid for any newly offered opportunities or declines to bid for any of the envisaged franchises.Expressions of interest are invited from organisations that can demonstrate through a Pre Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) process that they can meet the outline Conditions for Participation as set out in this document. It should be noted that further more detailed information will be supplied in any subsequent ITN.
