Caerphilly County Borough Council Social Services, Adult Services has the requirement for a Mental Health Pathways to Employment Service, to enable people with a mental health issues to have appropriate support in order to access an effective range of opportunities that will promote involvement in –•Paid Employment•Supported Employment•Vocational Training•Volunteering OpportunitiesIn summary, the Pathways to Employment Service will provide:•Vocational assessments.•Job Matching that involves the individual in the process•Personalised Individual Work Development Plans.•Access to a range of work related opportunities.•Job Coaching model of support if appropriate•Appropriate support following employment and for a period afterwards agreed with the individual.•Regular review of arrangements•Any associated risk assessment and management plans to support involvement and engagement in the work environmentThe purpose of The Pathways to Employment Service provides a specialised service for people with mental health issues who wish to remain or return to the open labour market.
