The Council of the Borough of Bournemouth is installing pay-on-foot car parking equipment for Richmond Gardens multi-storey car park and associated web-based management system enabling status data, fault notifications and statistical data.Richmond Gardens Multi-storey Car Park is situated near Bournemouth town centre and is operated by Bournemouth Borough Council Parking Services. The car park has a total of 5 floors. The car park currently operates on a pay and display system. This was seen as a temporary arrangement and the car park is being returned to a pay-on-foot system.The car park was constructed in 1982 and is mainly used by shoppers and visitors to Bournemouth town centre although a limited number of permits are offered to regular users.The contract is for 5 years with 3 possible extensions of 1 year each. Therefore, if all available extensions were taken, the full contract term would be 8 years.
