Pedestrian Footfall Measurement
Descriptions
Tenders are invited to provide a service in order to implement an electronic pedestrian footfall counting solution across the following named town centres of Bargoed, Blackwood, Caerphilly, Ystrad Mynach, Newbridge and Risca to provide information about town centre health and performance and to assess the impact of town centre development and investments on the number of visitors to our towns. Robust metrics are needed to evidence impact, assess the health of our town centres and inform future policy development and decision making aimed at improving town centre performance. The Council intends for the initial contract to be established for a period of 60 months (06/07/2017 to 05/07/2022) with an option to extend for a further period of up to 24 months at intervals to be agreed by the Council.
