This invitation to tender sets out the requirements for tender and the appointment of a Contractor at Old Board School, Llandudno to carry out the design and refurbishment of existing listed building and the construction of a 2-storey extension to form a new distillery and Visitor Centre shell (excludes Specialist Distillery Equipment & Machinery and Visitor Centre/Shop Fit-Out) with all associated works; site preparation works, external works and drainage including any required offsite drainage, highways work and section agreements including any adoptions required to provide a fully functional and complete development for Welsh Whisky Company Limited.The works in this contract will specifically address:-a) The restoration and conversion of the Old Board School, Llandudno, a Grade II Listed Building.b) The creation of a new Specialist Design Glazed extension to the existing Building.Situated in the centre of Llandudno, The Old Board School is to be purchased by the Welsh Whisky Company, to create a New Distillery and Visitor Centre.Once completed the buildings will comprise a reception area, shop, glazed walkway, nosing bar, distillery exhibition area and Master Class, along with ancillary areas such as wc’s, meeting rooms and employee offices.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=100273.
