Dumfries and Galloway Council is about to continue its corporate programme for the ‘Periodic Inspection of the Fixed Electrical Systems and Equipment' of its properties located across the area of South West Scotland served by Dumfries and Galloway Council.This contract consists of 4 separate lots running concurrently, each with a contract duration of 4 years, covering each of the 4 areas of Dumfries and Galloway that, when combined, calls for undertaking a ‘Periodic Inspection and Test of the Fixed Electrical Systems and Equipment' (known as a ‘PIR' — Periodic Inspection Report) at a current total of 399 properties, as follows:— 67 properties with a recommended Annual frequency of inspection;— 45 properties with a recommended frequency of inspection every 3 years, and;— 287 properties with a recommended frequency of inspection every 5 years.
