Phase 2 Adaptive Data Enablement
Descriptions
As part of the drive to continuously improve data sharing and achieve GDPR Compliance the OoCDO needs to introduce an enhanced departmental operating model and appoint Senior Data Custodians within each Directorate to be accountable for the sharing and acquisition of their data assets as well as embedding data policies and ways of working to achieve GDPR Compliance. To help achieve this the OoCDO requires support from an organisation that has strong knowledge and experience of similar organisational change to support it in defining and implementing the new ways of working as well as training and upskilling the organisation. The outcome from this contract will be twofold; Firstly, Senior Data Custodians will be mobilised across the department to take up accountability for data sharing and compliance with the Data Sharing Policy. Secondly, Project Management for GDPR, GIAA and DPO health check remediation activities will continue without pause or delay through to October 2022 when a permanent Civil Service can be appointed from the recent successful Senior Data Governance Manager recruitment campaign.
