Contractors are invited to tender for the refurbishment and internal alterations to the former convent building (protected structure). The proposed works consist of refurbishing the existing roof structure, installing a new waterproof membrane, re-slating, new lead valley linings, rainwater goods, etc. Internal refurbishment and alterations to provide community innovation centre with universal access and sanitary facilities. For the purpose of tendering it is paramount that the tendering contractor is in a position to commence works on site immediately following appointment and moreover has such resources available to meet the pertinent handover dates. However, given the public nature of the funding, it is important to note that final approval thereof will ultimately be a prerequisite to proceeding with the subject works.Infection Control / COVID 19 - The PSCS / Contractor shall prepare a H&S statement demonstrating measures that will be put in place to ensure that works can be carried out in accordance CIF Standard Operating Procedures as well as confirming measures to be taken to monitor these processes.
