This specification covers an Effluent System to bio-decontaminate waste from:Fermenter supernatant from downstream of centrifuge;Infrequent fermenter broth contents;CIP fluid washings from process equipment;CIP unit drainage;SIP condensate from process equipment;Operating and seal water from a centrifuge;Infrequent floor drain discharges.In order to be able to discharge this Effluent heat kill treatment will be required.Note where Effluent heat kill treatment is not required these flows can go directly into the Holding Tanks.Utility drainage such as from PW Generation, etc.The Effluent System is to be installed in the technical area of new building next to the existing Fermentation Process Plant, PHE, Porton Down, Salisbury, Wiltshire, SP4 0JG.
