Lot A1 - Press, PR & News Event PhotographyPhotographers in this Lot will be highly experienced in producing high quality digital photography of press-related events, public relations (PR) events and news photography, product and project launches, portraiture of public figures, celebrities and others.Assignments may originate daily and be defined by a 'brief' that provides the information relevant to the completion of that assignment. Assignments may arise from across a wide range of the Client's departments.Photographers will be expected to deliver colour-accurate high-resolution digital photography, sometimes to very tight media publication deadlines (sometimes within a few hours of event, or same day).Sub Lot information:Sub Lot A1.A - North Wales AreaSub Lot A1.B - Mid Wales AreaSub Lot A1.C - West Wales AreaSub Lot A1.D - South West WalesSub Lot A1.E - Cardiff & South East WalesLot A2 - Documentary & Case Study PhotographyPhotographers in this Lot will be highly experienced in producing high resolution, colour-accurate, creative digital photography of a range of documentary / photo-journalism projects. Such work may range from case studies of children / students / people / staff at school, in higher education or at work, through to documentary studies of developing environmental, social or technical projects.Assignments may originate regularly and be defined by a Brief that provides the information relevant to the completion of that assignment. Assignments may arise from across a wide range of the Client's departments.Important NoteGiven the sensitivities of photographing in certain education establishments, successful photographers for this Lot may have to submit to a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) background check.Lot A3 - Tourism & Lifestyle PhotographyPhotographers skilled in the various photographic fields commonly referred to Tourism / Lifestyle Photography.Typically, applicants in this Lot will be highly experienced in producing high quality photography digital of a range of tourism / lifestyle projects. Sub-Lots Information:A3.A: Golf Location - promotional photography of golf courses as landscapesA3.B: Golf Events - coverage of golf tournamentsA3.C: Golf Aerial - promotional aerial photography of golf courses A3.D: Events Sports - coverage of major sports events, e.g. Wales Rally GB, etcA3.E: Activities & Sports - Water - e.g. surfing, windsurfing, sailing, etcA3.F: Activities & Sports - Other - action photography of sports and activities, e.g. mountain biking, rock climbing, etcA3.G: Tourism & Lifestyle - high profile lifestyle photography, sometimes with supplied models and arranged locations, often art directed / supervisedA3.H: Events & Festivals - coverage of major events and festivals, including model-released members of the public / crowd shots, etc.A3.J: Magazine Feature Portraiture - assignments for a range of most-specifically Visit Wales / tourism publications, a mixture of portraiture and 'shadow' documentary workA3.K: Landscapes - general location and landscape photography A3.L: Mountain Landscapes - mountain and higher altitude landscape photography, with ability to access higher reaches of ranges and summits A3.M: Locations & People - 'destination' assignments (wider-ranging than A3G, above), a mixture of location/landscape work and model-released lifestyle shots using members of the public. Photographers would normally work unsupervised in the course of such commissions.A3N: Transport - photography of general road, water and other transportA3P: Transport (Rail Only) - coverage of narrow gauge and other railways in WalesA3Q: Flora & Fauna - Flowers, animals, the countryside in general Lot A4 - Promotional & Advertising PhotographyTypically, photographers and companies in this Lot will be experienced in producing the highest quality photography digital photography of a range of promotional /advertising projects. Photographers will have flair, experience and expertise in delivering creative promotional/advertising photography, as well as having a proven track record in producing and delivering such work to defined deadlines. Typically such work may be defined as both one-off or limited numbers photography, most likely requiring pre-production and set-ups, possibly involving models or props and sometimes requiring the use of a studio. Digital post-production and creative re-touching may sometimes be required to achieve a specific end-result.Lot A5 - Aerial Promotional PhotographyTypically, photographers in this Lot will be highly experienced in producing high quality digital promotional photography from either helicopters or light aircraft.Such work may range from imagery of landscapes, towns or cities, to smaller subjects such as individual buildings.Other subjects may include aerial events or specially commissioned promotional shoots involving models or props.Lot A6 - Architectural PhotographyTypically, photographers in this Lot will be highly experienced in producing high quality digital architectural photography. Such work may range from small interior details of rooms and their décor, through larger views of wider interiors, to full exterior view of buildings that may be either contemporary or historic. Applicants will be skilled in use of mixed lighting conditions and both daytime and night photography. Specialist camera equipment capable of correcting verticals and convergence on buildings may be required.Sub Lot Information:Sub Lot A6.A - Contemporary - Interior & Exterior PhotyographySub Lot A6.B - Ancient & Historic & Exteriro PhotographySub Lot A6.C - Industrial - Interior & Exterior PhtographyLot A7 Food PhotographyTypically, photographers in this Lot will be highly experienced in producing high quality photography digital photography of a food in all its forms.Such work may range from imagery of raw food products, through various stages of cooking to finished and presented meals, both on location in a controlled environment such as a studio.Sub Lot Info:Sub Lot A7.A - Food - Studio PhotogrpahySub Lot A7.B - Food - Location PhotographyInviting Suppliers to Quote:Once the member of staff has highlighted the relevant suppliers who are able to deliver their total requirement, they have 2 options:Option 1For jobs with a projected value of £5,000 or less – select any one supplier from the identified list and after obtaining a quotation based on their requirement – and subject to it being confirmed at less that £5K – proceed. The decision on which supplier to select will be based on our experience and understanding of those suppliers under the relevant lot; and who we believe is best suited to deliver that requirement; or;Option 2If the project is expected to be in excess of the £5K limit – Invite all of the relevant suppliers to bid for the project, and award the job to the supplier who best meets the award criteria for that job.Operation under Option 1 will be subject to annual review and may be subject to change.Further information and guidance can be found within the etendering portal for this framework. See below.The awarding Authority reserves the right to request parent company and/or other guarantees of performance and financial liability.Payment terms will be indicated in the contract documents. Tenders to be priced in Sterling. Payment made in Sterling only. No special legal form required but joint and several liability assumed by all group bidders before acceptance.The Authority reserves the right to consider variant bids.The Contract is for 24 months and has an option to extend the duration up to a period up to a further 24 months.This contract will be available for use by other Assembly Government Sponsored Bodies (listed below) with prior written approval of the Authority:Arts Council of Wales, Care Council for Wales, Countryside Council for Wales, Environment Agency Wales, Higher Education Funding Council for Wales, Local Government Boundary Commission, National Library Wales, National Museum Wales, Royal Commission for Ancient and Historical Monuments of Wales, Sports Council for Wales, Wales Centre for Health, Welsh Language Board.Suppliers should note that inclusion on a framework does not constitute a guarantee of employment. The Client is not obligated to commission any work under this arrangement.
