Descriptions
The MRA are undertaking a comprehensive solar energy project across two sites, Lynemouth and Silverdale, which involves enabling works and pre-works surveys, detailed design updates, and the installation of Solar PV systems.
The project includes site-specific tasks such as biodiversity management, grid connection infrastructure, and the provision of operational documentation and handover to maintenance teams.

2. Detailed design: Updating drawings and documentation in accordance with:
• previously approved planning applications (approved 2020, extension submitted 2023)
• G99 application
• To include a biodiversity management plan and social value proposal.
3. Solar PV Installation: Procuring equipment, materials and labour associated with the approved design and operational use.
Build to include:
• infrastructure (where necessary for grid connection)
• construction management oversight and documentation
• handover to operations and maintenance teams
• security of solar panels during build
• implementation of biodiversity proposal on site (Lyne-mouth only)
We have completed a compliant procurement by mini competition through the Crown Commercial Services Demand Management and Renewal Framework (RM6314).
The Solar PV sites project demonstrates a strong commitment to ethical sourcing and supply chain integrity through the CCS Framework.
This strategy ensures suppliers comply with modern slavery regulations, submit required documentation, and undergo rigorous evaluations. By engaging vetted suppliers dedicated to sustainability, the project promotes ethical practices and sustainability. Continuous monitoring through tools like the Modern Slavery Assessment Tool (MSAT) and the transparent contract structure ensure the project meets renewable energy goals while maintaining high standards of integrity throughout the supply chain.
