The extent of works shall comprise the building, electrical and mechanical refurbishment of the Physics/Maths Building at the main Aberystwyth University campus, Penglais.The building was originally built within the 1960's comprising 5 storeys with a split level library occupying the 4th floor and a separate attached ground floor workshop.The works on the 1st & 2nd floors shall include lighting, distribution, power, data, fire alarms, hand dryers and water heaters. New building works shall comprise new corridor ceilings including the associated making good of the builder’s fabric after removal of redundant luminaires and accessories.The Complete new lighting, power, data and fire alarms installations for the 1st 2nd shall be undertaken by the contractor as indicated upon these drawings.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
