Pilot Voucher Scheme for Sign Language Interpretive Services

This Request for Tender (RFT) is to invite prospective service providers to submit a tender for the provision of ISL / English interpreting and Deaf interpreting services for a pilot scheme for an expected six month period, (start date to be decided) as to how users of Irish Sign Language (ISL) can access ISL / English interpreting to support inclusion and participation in social, educational and cultural events and services (including medical) and other activities. The procurement contact will cover the operation of a pilot scheme delivered over four months as well as allowing for a lead in period and an assessment and reporting period of the scheme. It is anticipated that there may be an estimated 500 assignments throughout the country during the pilot scheme.
