Pitlochry Festival Theatre (PFT) is a highly successful producing theatre and tourist attraction in Highland Perthshire. Each year it creates up to nine mainstage productions and attracts c. 100,000 visitors to its productions, botanic garden, café-bar, restaurant, art gallery and shop.The redevelopment project will build upon PFT’s proud history of quality and creativity by transforming it into a 21st century centre of excellence. The vision is for the redevelopment to enable PFT to deliver high quality in-house theatre output on two different scales with a diverse programme, an entirely new approach to vocational training and skills development which responds to talent pipeline gaps within the creative industries, and an unrivalled visitor experience – all within an extraordinary location.PFT is seeking to appoint a multi-disciplinary design team to deliver RIBA Stages 1-7 on the key redevelopment works identified as “Phase 2” in the PFT masterplanning exercise undertaken in late 2021.
