Descriptions
NHS England South (South West) (the Commissioner) seeks to commission Alternative Provider Medical Services (APMS) Primary Care Services in Plymouth. This procurement is being carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit on behalf of the Commissioners. The Contract start date is 1.4.2018 for 3 years with an optional 2 year extension period. The services may be modified during the term of any contract for additional primary care services which may be required within Plymouth in either a caretaking capacity or to be added to the contract as an addition to existing practices or as a satellite service. The provider will be working towards New Models of Care addressing the pressures facing GPs; ensuring the needs and priorities of patients and the public are met enabling general practice to be fit for the future.
