Following a review of the service in light of changes to the Greater Manchester health and justice landscape and in line with the provisions of the Public Contract Regulations 2015 – the decision was taken to separate the existing components of the Integrated Service and develop a new commissioning strategy which seeks wider integration of health across the justice system in Greater Manchester., GMCA will issue a tender in Autumn 2021 for the new Police Healthcare in Custody element of the Integrated Service.
