Policy Crowdsourcing Project
Descriptions
As part of our ongoing work in modernising the way in which we create policy and represent people with cancer and their families, we are issuing a call for expressions of interest to undertake an online policy crowdsourcing exercise. We are looking for innovative and exciting ideas to make our policy process cutting edge and importantly respondent to the needs of people living with cancer. The project should provide an online platform for academics, clinicians and patients to come together and unpick some of the most high profile public policy issues in Wales and the UK. We aim to engage with people globally rather than just the United Kingdom.Papers should be no longer than 1000 words and include the following information:1) Title: Innovative solutions to funding cancer treatment in Wales2) How would you use technology and social media to engage with stakeholders from across the globe? (Stakeholders should include: Cancer Patients, their families, clinicians and academics)3) What are the advantages and potential pitfalls of policy crowdsourcing?4) The project should engage with at least 30 stakeholders5) How long would you anticipate the project to last?6) Case studies of how you have done this for other organisations in the past7) How much will the project cost?NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at http://www.sell2wales.gov.uk/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=16817.
