Tenovus Cancer Care is one of Wales’ leading cancer charities and advocates for the improvement of public health and enhancement of NHS services for people affected by cancer. Tenovus Cancer Care plays an active role in shaping public policy in Wales and this is supported by live political intelligence of the National Assembly for Wales and Welsh Government supplied by a monitoring agency.We are currently looking for a firm to monitor the following outputs and provide incisive political analysis of developments within Welsh public policy relating to cancer and public health:1. National Assembly for Wales debates/ committee deliberations and other relevant outputs2. Welsh Government publications. For example press releases/consultations / decision reports/ research3. Political party outputs. For example consultations/ press releases4. Welsh Affairs Select Committee output relevant to cross border health and people affected by cancer.5. Developments in public health and cancer services published by NHS bodies in Wales.The content should be delivered in a timely fashion to the Communications & Marketing Team. It is expected that the monitoring must be relevant to the organisation’s interests. The successful monitoring firm will be expected to tailor its services to developing policy interests of Tenovus Cancer Care.As part of the contract, we expect:1. A concise weekly report with information relevant to Tenovus Cancer Care2. Analysis of the latest political developments each week and any links to Tenovus Cancer Care.3. Any reference of ‘Tenovus Cancer Care’ made through the National Assembly for Wales, UK Parliament or Welsh Government highlighted immediately to the assigned contact in the team.4. Summaries of debates or committee hearings which are of high interest to Tenovus Cancer Care provided to the assigned contact on the same day.The successful company will be given an initial contract of 12 months, which will be reviewed in month 10. Payments will be made on a monthly basis. Any submissions for tender should provide a full breakdown of costs including VAT.Tenovus Cancer Care will reserve the right to terminate the contract if the monitoring firm does not fulfil their monitoring duties in a timely and accurate manner.As part of this tender, we are also exploring future monitoring services in other constituent parts of the United Kingdom. It would assist us if you could state whether you routinely monitor in other parts of the United Kingdom and provide an estimate for UK wide monitoring of the issues stated above.
