The overall objective for the project is to build on an existing project proposal by undertaking a detailed appraisal and the preparation of a business case for the improvement of defences to the highest justifiable standard of protection. Specifically, the processed used was a further competition accessing the Environment Agency WEM Framework to undertake the delivery of a PAR (Project Appraisal Report), that achieves LPRG (Large Project Review Group) approval and approval from all statutory stakeholders.
