Descriptions
The Wolverhampton City area covers approximately 7,000 hectares and includes the population centres of Wolverhampton, Bilston, Wednesfield and Tettenhall. The majority of the City has been developed in the past, with associated influences on ground conditions, including the presence of made ground and former mining hazards. The object of this tender is to provide Price Lists for two Wolverhampton City Council (WCC) term service contract lots, namely; Lot 1 - Site Investigation, and Lot 2 - Ground Stabilisation, to assist in the delivery of a wide range of WCC projects that may include new school buildings, residential and commercial development sites, landscaping, and building defects assessments. The Form of Contract will be the NEC3 Term Service Short Contract. Tenders may be submitted for either Lot 1 or Lot 2, or both Lot 1 and Lot 2, and each Lot tendered will be evaluated separately. A preferred contractor and a reserve contractor will be awarded for each Lot to assist in the delivery of WCC projects. The contracts are to be valid for a period of four years.
