The City of Wolverhampton Council has commissioned a support service under the Home Office Syrian Vulnerable Person Resettlement (VPR) Programme. It is our intention to resettle approximately twenty (20) people per year for the next 5 years.The provider shall provide the following service:Provision of suitable furnished accommodation;Provision of interpretation and translation;General Orientation — promoting independence;Support Planning;Key working;Identified housing is fit for purpose;Housing related support;Referral to Health Care — including access to Primary and Secondary care;Access to Education — both adults and children;Assessment and delivery of ESOL by an accredited provider;Benefits Advice;Maximising Employment and Training opportunities;Wellbeing Care and support — Clothing, food, including integration into local communities, access to leisure facilities and or social groups.Referral to relevant organisation to meet the identified needs of the service user.
